Unique Upgrade Orb

Overview of Unique Upgrade Orb

Unique Upgrade Orb is a system to increase the power of Unique Upgraded / Unique C2 equipment. The player creates an Orb, chooses the appropriate option, then inlays the Orb into the item to complete the build direction.

What is Unique Upgrade Orb?

The item contains the option to inlay into Unique Upgraded / Unique C2 equipment like a Jewel.

Optimize options

Players can reroll stats, reset rolls, and process options before inserting Orbs into items.

Level Orb

Orb has progression from Level 1 to Level 5. The higher the level, the stronger the bonus group.

Split Orb

Key 99 is used to separate Orb from item or separate Orb level according to the corresponding formula.

  • Recipe: x4 Unique Upgrade (Type Hard) + x2 Magic Orb + Sur Rune
  • Item source: Unique Hard: x3 Unique Hard + Ohm Rune + Normal Orb
  • Used for the Extra Quest Hard item group.
  • Priority is given to Extra Quest Hard items.

Level 5

Highest level of Unique Upgrade Orb.
  • Recipe: Main source according to endgame Season 25 supplement.
  • Item source: Dungeon of 5 Sins has a Unique Orb Level 5 drop according to Season 25 information.
  • Used for the endgame phase when needing to optimize item strength.
  • Prioritize farming in sub-levels that drop Unique Orb Level 5.

Usage procedure

1. Prepare item Unique C2

Force or farm Unique Upgraded / Unique C2 equipment in the correct item group to build. Equipment needs a socket if you want to inlay Orb.

2. Optimize item index

Use Soul Stone to reroll C2 stat and Curse Breaker Stone to delete excess options before loading options into Orb.

3. Activate Orb

Right click on Unique Upgrade Orb and select item Unique C2 to load options. Orb after activation will carry the selected option line.

4. Inlaid into equipment

Insert the activated Orb into the item's socket like inlaying a Jewel. Needs correct item group/Unique ID according to system rules.

5. Roll or transfer ID

If the option is not met, use the roll item. If exchanging embryos within the same category, use Transmute Crystal according to the Unique ID transfer mechanism.

Roll, reset and separate Orb

Roll and reset

Orb can reroll the option if the line is not reached. Song S23 says Copper Quartz for roll Orb; Craft Option S25 page is using Soul Stone for roll C2 and Reset Count to bring the roll to 0/5.

Split Orb with Key 99

  • Item contains Orb + 2 Key 99 = separate Orb, keep Orb and item index intact.
  • Unique Upgrade Orb Level 2 + Key 99 = split down to Level 1 - 2 and randomize the index again.
  • Unique Upgrade Orb Level 3 + x2 Key 99 = split down to Level 1 - 2 - 3 and randomize the index again.
  • Unique Upgrade Orb Level 4 + x3 Key 99 = split down to Level 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and randomize the index again.
  • Unique Upgrade Orb Level 5 + x4 Key 99 = split down to Level 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 and randomize the index again.

Checklist before mosaic

Should check

  • Does the item receiving Orb have the correct Unique ID/category?
  • Item has an empty socket for Orb inlay.
  • Is the option on Orb in the right direction to build?
  • Have you considered the cost of rolling/resetting/detaching Orb?

Important note

  • Each item should only be inlaid with Orb when the correct option is selected.
  • Separating the Orb level can randomize the index according to the Key 99 formula.
  • The higher the level, the greater the optimal cost.
  • Prioritize reading the recipe carefully before rolling or separating Orbs.
