Pool Tier 2/Sigil is exclusive to S25, only includes 5 finalized skills and is separated from the Skill Upgrade list by class.

Pool Skill Upgrade Tier 2 - Sigil

This Tier 2 skill group applies across Sigil by private pool. Once the correct conditions have been opened, the skill begins Lv1 and players use it Sigil Essence combines Runes to gradually increase Lv20. This is a separate Sigil pool, not a list of plus levels directly in the Tier 1 class tab.

Rules & Sigil

  • UnlockSkill Upgrade Tier 1 with the required system Lv10 before opening Tier 2 branch.
  • LevelTier 2 starts at Lv1, then use Sigil Essence + Runes to upgrade each level to Lv20.
  • Do not use pointsTier 2 does not use the linear point table of Tier 1; The costs follow a separate ladder recipe and there are additional runes for each milestone.
  • LimitEach character is only allowed to lift 1 Skill Upgrade Tier 2.

Arcane Sigil

  • Amulet: Similar to Unique Orb Upgrade but specific to chains.
  • Craft: Talisman Imprint Orb.
  • Roll: Choose a Skill Upgrade Tier 2 in the private pool.
  • Cast: Hit to Cast, accumulate points when hitting to release skills.

Sigil Essence

Sigil Essence + Rune Recipe

Tier 2 uses its own compounding formula: Sigil Essence + Runes. Sigil Essence is a Tier 2 upgrade material, while Sigil roll skill is still an open source skill in the pool. The lowest rune starts at Vex, because Tier 2 is the endgame branch after players have invested in Tier 1.

The total to reach Lv20 is 222 Sigil Essence with high runes from Vex and above: Vex at the beginning, Ohm in the middle, Lo/Sur from Lv11, Ber/Jah at Lv16-Lv19 and Ber/Jah/Cham for the final level. This method keeps Tier 2 different from Tier 1 but is still more expensive, true to endgame quality.

INTRODUCING SKILL UPGRADE TIER 2 - SIGIL S25

Skill Upgrade Tier 2 Season 25 D2TM - exclusive Sigil pool for endgame

Skill Upgrade Tier 2 Season 25 is D2TM's own Sigil skill pool lookup page. Unlike Tier 1, which is equal to points in Group T, Tier 2 does not use Skill Upgrade points; Open skill at Lv1 and upgrade with Sigil Essence combined with runes at each milestone up to Lv20.

1. What skills does Pool Skill Upgrade Tier 2 include?

Pool Tier 2 currently only includes 5 skills: Elemental Spiral, Frostfall, Static Swarm, Magic Swirl and Lightning Grid. This is a separate list from Tier 1 Skill Upgrades by class to avoid duplication and easily balance the Season 25 meta.

2. Why does Tier 2 use Sigil instead of points?

Tier 2 is designed in a direction Sigil Skill Upgrade, apply skill roll mechanism in private pool then use Sigil Essence and Rune to level up. This helps Tier 2 act as an endgame expansion branch, without confusing the linear point table of Tier 1 and without creating the feeling that players have to upgrade multiple systems with the same type of points.

3. Tier 2 conditions and limitations

The character needs to have Skill Upgrade Tier 1 with the same system Lv10 before unlocking Tier 2. When unlocked, Tier 2 begins Lv1 and can lift max Lv20. Each character is only allowed to lift 1 Skill Upgrade Tier 2, so choosing Sigil needs to match the character's build direction, damage element, farming speed and PvE/PvP goals.

4. How are Tier 2, Sigil and Merc different?

Tier 2 Sigil is the branch for the main character. Merc Use Signet Skill Up exclusively on C2 weapons and do not use Tier 1 points. This page clearly separates 3 important keyword groups: Skill Upgrade Tier 2, Sigil Skill Upgrade and Merc Signet Skill Up.
